NTD recently upgraded with the purchase of an all-electric Mid-Range Rig
While it depends on well diameter, Mid-Range Drilling Rigs are typically used for wells up to a depth of 1000 meters. They are much more energy efficient and less expensive to run than larger rigs and are also easier and quicker to mobilize with much smaller footprint, often no wellpad required.

Used for “top hole” drilling first sections of deeper wells with larger rigs used for deeper sections. Also ideal for onshore fishfarms and carbon capture.

We own equipment and also draw on rig fleets of strategic partners as well as well-known equipment providers. For our own rigs we carefully design with OEMs to optimize for geothermal.
