NTD, subsidiary of Icelandic company North Tech Energy, entered into a contract this year with HS Orka hf., one of the biggest private energy companies in Iceland
16 March 2023 – Iceland has long been known for the resourceful, unique uses of the country’s naturally abundant renewable energy resources.
Collaboration between Icelandic industry leaders is therefore a common and innovative move to drive forward new domestic energy projects and developments. North Tech Drilling (NTD)’s recent contract with HS Orka is a major example of the benefits of this kind of partnership.
This open contract, signed in February of this year, is for supervision and consultancy of drilling activities. Beyond overseeing drilling operations, NTD will also be responsible for the necessary planning and preparing prior to the start of designated HS Orka drilling projects.
The first of HS Orka’s projects to be supervised by NTD will begin in April, at the Reykjanes Power Plant.
